We’re proud to be featured in the October edition of the Central Penn Business Journal! In the article, Kevin Southam, a BenCo owner, project manager and designer, shares how employee training has been instrumental in the success of our PA laser cutting shop.
Many of our highly skilled employees had little experience in laser cutting before working for us here at BenCo. But through hands-on training we’ve been able to produce some of the best designers and technicians in the industry!
In addition to conducting on-site training, BenCo sends employees out for a week or more at a time to train on equipment, including tube lasers, flat lasers and ERP software, Southam said.
“Training side-by-side with the experts that built our equipment and actually programmed our software, is handsdown
one of the best ways to equip our team for success,” he said.
